Solving the Mystery of God is Love

하느님은 사랑이라는 신비
If we take then that all God is love,
we can see that by recreating
this drawing of the Void contemplating itself
and then creating Jacob's ladder4 all the way down to molecular mass,
this has all been loved into being.
만약 하느님의 모든 것이 사랑이라는 것을 받아들인다면,
그 자신을 숙고하는 허공의 도식을 다시 그려놓고 분자수준에까지 아래로
제콥의 사다리4를 그려 놓아보면, 모든 것이 사랑으로서 존재하게 됨을 알 수 있다.

You have been loved into being.
You may not feel like it Sunday morning
when you wake up from a long Saturday night.
You may not feel like you've been loved into waking up.
But there is a force called life that has loved you
and got the sheer magnetic joy out of giving you life so
that you could grumble about it on Sunday morning.
당신은 사랑으로서 존재하게 되었다.
긴 토요일 밤을 지내다가 일어나면 일요일 아침이라고 느껴지지 않을 수 있다.
당신이 깨어나도록 사랑 받았다는 것을 느끼지 못할 수도 있다.
그러나 여기에 생명이라는 힘이 있어서 당신을 사랑했었고,
당신에게 생명을 주면서 순수하고 마력적인 기쁨을 즐겼었다.
그리하여 당신이 태어나고
일요일 아침에 당신은 그것에 대해 불만을 토로할 수 있는 것이다.
Now is it not then an enigma that this wonderful feeling has eluded
so many people for so long. Its moments have been fleeting,
and there have been whole kingdoms that have perished
and whole armies that have gone down to their death just because of love.
And what man would not The List Comprised of Love / Parents
and Love betray his own family for the sake of love?
It seems to be the ultimate prize of this lifetime.
And the truth is, it is.
이제 이 놀라운 느낌은
오랜 시간동안 그 많은 사람을 현혹했다는 것은 수수께끼가 아니겠는가?
그 순간은 쏜살같이 지나가 버리고,
사랑 때문에 왕국전체가 무너져 버리고, 군대전체가 죽음으로 몰리게 되었었다.
사랑을 위해서 자신의 가족을 버리지 않는 남자가 누구이겠는가?
그것이 이 생에서 가지게 되는 궁극적 포상으로 보인다.
그리고 진실은 그게 맞다는 것이다.
Why? Because the moment unequal giving is expressed is the moment
that you are the most godlike in your entire life.
You want to be close to God? Then you be God. How do you be God?
You give and you love. You give until you feel that love;
then you are godlike.
When you fall out of the grace of God,
it isn't that God has turned its back on you
but rather you have forgotten the harmonious union of what love means.
왜 그런가? 왜냐하면 대가없이 주는 순간은
자신의 전 생애에서 가장 하느님다워지는 순간이기 때문이다.
하느님에 가까워지고 싶은가? 그러면 당신은 하느님이다.
어떻게 하느님이 되는가? 당신이 주고 사랑하면서이다.
당신이 그 사랑을 느낄 때까지 주어라. 그때 당신은 하느님답게 되는 것이다.
당신이 하느님의 그 은총에서 벗어나게 되면,
하느님이 당신에게 등을 돌린 것이 아니라,
당신이 사랑이 의미하는 조화로운 하나됨(合一)을 잊어버린 것이다.
And do you not emulate that in all of your relationships?
Are you not looking for someone to love or to love you?
Are you not looking for your children to love you?
Are you not looking for your children to find love and to be happy?
Are you not finding that you would like for your parents to find love and be happy?
Isn't that what all your greeting cards are about? Isn't it? It is.
당신이 모든 인간관계에서 이런 내용을 흉내 내지 않았는가?
당신은 사랑할 사람, 사랑해줄 사람을 찾지 않았던가?
당신의 아이들이 당신을 사랑하기를 바라지 않았던가?
당신의 아이들이 사랑을 찾고 행복하기를 바라지 않는가?
당신의 부모가 당신이 사랑을 발견하고 행복하기 바라는 것을 알지 못 하는가?
당신의 연하엽서가 그런 것들이 아니었나? 그런 것이다.
So if God then is love,
then we open the mystery by saying what does that mean?
It means that God is a giver; that God is a giver, not a taker.
My old teacher was a giver and not a taker.
And this noble entity allowed his past to pass away
and continued to give until all the life left out of him.
이렇게 하느님이 사랑이라면,
이제 그 미스터리를 그 의미는 무엇인가란 질문으로 시작할 수 있겠는가?
하느님은 주는 자라는 의미이고, 하느님이 갖는 자가 아니라 주는 자라는 뜻이다.
나의 오래전 스승은 주는 자이고 갖는 자가 아니다.
이 고상한 실체는 그의 과거가 흘러가 버릴 수 있게 내 버리고,
나에게 남은 여생을 주는 것으로 일관하였다.
